Electrolysis for Milia, Veins, Warts in Bristol

Ideal for Millia, Red Veins, Warts & Verruca Removal

What is Electrolysis?

This is a proven technique in the beauty practitioner's toolkit and offers a viable alternative to other methods of permanent hair removal, but also can be used to remove milia, warts and verrucas as well as treat red veins and spider veins. Particularly popular when for treating small or sensitive areas like the face and neck. Electrolysis is fast becoming the most popular alternative to Laser Hair Removal and a safe, fast and effective treatment for milia, veins, warts, and verrucas.

Electrolysis is a treatment that involves a tiny surgical probe being inserted into the hair follicle, milia, vein, wart, or verruca being treated, with this in place, a tiny impulse of energy is transmitted. This energy creates a chemical reaction and achieves the desired result. When treating unwanted hair with electrolysis this reaction happens at the hair root and the hair is then taken out, but not pulled. Veins are cauterised by the chemical reaction at either side to allow the body to absorb them naturally when they are no longer in use. Whilst milia, warts, and verrucas are treated to remove them from the surface of the skin. A client will require a course of treatments to successfully treat veins, milia, warts, and verrucas.

For electrolysis to have a long term effect on hair growth, you will need to take a series of treatments. It works by weakening the hair over time, so eventually, it stops growing. Every person is different and the time it actually takes for the hair to stop growing varies from person to person, depending on other factors such as age, hormones and home hair removal techniques. Our therapists will be happy to advise you on this in a FREE consultation. Electrolysis is remarkable versatile and can be used safely on virtually all parts of the body, with a few exceptions. Typical applications include the bikini, underarm areas, stomach, breasts, chin, brows and upper lip hair removal for women.

Men often choose electrolysis for facial hair removal as well as treatment of shoulders, back or neck.
